Shawn's latest race was the Spooker which was a $3,000 to win show, held at Tri State Speedway in Pocola, OK. He ran his heat race on the opening night and started it on the outside pole. The groove was right around the bottom and Shawn was making it work. Late in the race something came flying off the track and instantly shattered his face shield on his helmet, forcing him to pull off. 

This put him in a B Main on the final night. Shawn was in one of the transfer positions when a car got into his left rear quarter panel on a restart with two laps to go. This flattened his tire and put an end to the weekend.
